Ø PEN to PAD
There is an old saying, “A Pen is mightier than the sword”. Pen has been a great device that is used to express anything in any form like symbols, paintings etc. Pen has played a vital role in imparting knowledge in field of academics, polity, economy, history, civic and geography, or even in culture and religion. Education has been summarized in broader way to broaden the horizon of man.
Pen came into existence because of various needs of men. Evolution of pen can be construed from cave painting done by ancient people in various caves with the help of charcoal; later on first feather pen was invented by Indians. Its effects could be later on seen in various fields of academic like writing of Vedas, Shastras, in field of entertainment like Natya Shastra, in field of philosophy like Shaddarshan, in field of religion like Mahabharata, Ramayana, in field of history like Raj Tarangini, in field of polity like Arthshastra, etc. All of them have seen the light of the day because of existence of pen.
Earlier pen could only be used on the earth surface and was perishable but now technological development has made it possible to write on any surface, at any altitude including space and oceanic depth. Earlier pen was considered to be a great companion of man People had been fortunate to have such device that could compile the whole world on a single piece of paper. With gradual passage of time, adaption of new technological mechanism is mounting, which led to uplifting whole new generation towards the new ideas and technology. All of sudden, technology has become mandatory for each individual; from cradle to grave each human being is now dependent on technology in this technological era.
Now PAD, the introduction of an innovative device that has made a sea change in the 21st century. PAD has been considered here as a tool which can facilitate human-being in any form of electronics like computer, notepad, tablet that can be use to write, rub, access or even entertain. It’s a new concept for uplifting the generation being user friendly without being burdensome. Innovation has made it possible for any individual from any place to preparing anything without being confused.
PAD as a concept has rendered indispensable and superior impact in the global arena. In all among, education is making a man of character. For this process of man of character, technology has developed such PADs which will raise human life better than it was. It has led to making communication plenty time faster than it was. Now People have started googling widely speeding up immensely the flow of information at the global level. And now their eagerness has grown towards a life style that could helps them in adaption of technology that can create a difference rather than just being a lay writer to a technosavy man.
Here, I am of the opinion that people are diverting more towards PAD learning. One use to use pen for writing, gaining knowledge or to revolutionize something but for that they had to maintain a bundle of paper or books and when they had urgent need to retrieve it, they couldn’t retrieve it at that sudden point of time.
Concept evaluation of mine is, people rather inputting or maintaining a bundle of paper, diaries or books have migrated themselves from pen to PAD. New concept has brought more focus on this device that can be used to refer anything.
One has made it as his/her own small office in her/his pocket, not only small office but even it could be a greater part of entertainment. In any corner of world, one can meet his/her own kinspersons online. PAD has brought the revolution to remove pen and can write or access anything with the simple use of figure touch.
I could conclude, man has uplift himself that much he/she can sitting any part of world and can access any field of institution. In nutshell, “A PAD is mightier than the sword”.
